ISA Aachen is a registered non-profit student association in Germany. Our activities are entirely voluntary and depend on the generous support of individuals and organisations.

How You Can Support ISA

You can support our mission in the following ways:

Tax Deduction Benefits (Applicable in Germany)

ISA Aachen is officially recognized as a charitable organization (gemeinnütziger Verein) under German law, which means:

  • Your donations are tax-deductible in Germany.
  • For donations above €300/year, we issue a donation receipt (Spendenbescheinigung).
  • For donations below €300, a bank transfer slip or receipt is usually sufficient for tax purposes (according to §50 of the German Income Tax Implementing Regulation – EStDV).
  • You can submit the donation certificate with your annual tax return to your local tax office (Finanzamt) to receive a tax benefit.
